The Titans Haven't Won Two Straight Since November 2022. The Browns Are the Chance to End It.

By , TitansCountry ·

Titans fans, let that one sink in: this franchise hasn't won back-to-back games since November 2022. Sunday is the shot to finally end it.

As Tennessee Titans On SI laid out, the drought reaches back into the Mike Vrabel era and stretches across three head coaches. Robert Saleh's team is 1-5 after last week's 26-20 win at Indianapolis. Next up is Cleveland at Nissan Stadium, and these aren't the old Browns. First-year coach Todd Monken has them at 4-2 and on top of the AFC North, per SI, although Cleveland hasn't topped 13 points in either of its last two games.

The first injury report of the week, per TennesseeTitans.com, listed safety Tony Adams (ankle), receiver Calvin Ridley (hip) and safety Kevin Winston Jr. (quad) as limited Wednesday. John Franklin-Myers and Tyjae Spears sat out with rest days. Linebacker Dorian Mausi was a full participant and is inside his 21-day practice window off injured reserve.

Our Take: Beating Indy was the start. Stacking a second win, at home, where SI notes the Titans are still looking for their first win this season, is how you prove the Colts game wasn't a one-off. Saleh's defensive line got six sacks in Indy, per SI. Do it again against a Browns attack that leans on rookies Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion.

What to watch: Thursday's and Friday's reports on Ridley and the two safeties, and whether Mausi gets activated. Kickoff is noon Central on Sunday.
